KWC45 WINCH COMPACT 45

The KCW45 is an ultra compact 2 speed winch for sailboats up to 40 feet (12 meters). It is the only winch on the market to offer both a very fast speed (1st speed) and a very powerful speed (2nd speed). Sending a large sail or tacking will seem particularly easy to you ! It replaces any winch up to size 40. Switch to Compact is obvious when you take the time to compare !

  • The KCW45 has NO direct competitors. It only has advantages. Even its price is a nice surprise considering the performance offered.
  • Very compact winch considering its power. The KCW45 is the power of a size 46 winch in the dimensions of a size 20 winch (130 mm base)!

  • The KCW only exists (for the moment) in one size.
  • The working load of a KCW45 is the same as a size 40 winch (850 kg). It is for this reason that we affirm that any boat designed to be fitted with a size 20, 30 or 40 winch can be fitted with our KCW45 winch.
  • Our winch is sometimes installed on very large sailboats when there is no load problem. This is the case with davit winches or winches intended for hoisting sails which will be hooked. The load is then limited to the weight of the sail.
  • The arrow on the headstock indicates the 1st gear which is the fastest
  • Ropes from 8 to 11 mm KCW winches are delivered without handle. You can use any crank … including our beautiful carbon cranks. The prices are very close to other One Touch cranks (aluminum, etc.) on the market.
