PRODUCT INFORMATION
Black backplate for black and hard anodised cleats:- CL213, CL214, CL241AN, CL258AN, CL259AN and CL273AN. Use a backplate when riveting a cleat onto fabric as it will prevent the rivet pulling through. A backplate can also be used when a cleat is sewn onto fabric. On carbon fibre sails, cleats should only be sewn because alloy rivets can corrode. Backplates can be purchased seperately or with the cleats.
