KBRA65 ALUMINUM TITANIUM LASHING BLOCK

The KBRC65 is the aluminum version of our range of KBR blocks devoted to Racing and Super Yachts. It is a very low friction lashing block designed for larger loads. It is aboard the Ultims, Imocas, and many Super Yachts. Very few blocks on the market can display a coefficient of friction of 2% on very high loads. Titanium sheave, titanium rollers, ceramic side balls and painted carbon flanges. The KBRA is certainly the most efficient block on the market.

  • Used on many racing yachts & super yachts
  • The Aluminum version of the KBR is the original version before we extended it to carbon, carbon wood and stainless steel finishes. It is this version that was used for the backstays of the Volvo Ocean Race
  • The KBRA is also available in an opening version : KBR OP
  • Reliable and resistant even under very heavy load

  • Anti-rollover shape. The pulley remains straight whatever the direction of the efforts
  • Very generous central space to come and fix several lashings (low runners for example)
  • The lashing in the middle is also too big a guarantee of safety. If the pulley breaks (for external reasons of course!), The lashing will still retain the rope while the installation is secure.
  • A real design that stands out from other pulleys on the market
  • Range from 1.5 T to 40 T.
  • Also available with carbon (KBR C) or stainless steel (KBR M) flanges)
  • Delivered without textile shackle
  • The blocks are delivered with the bearings lightly greased which has the effect of an impression of significant friction when one tries to make them turn by hand (without load). Our goal is not to have low friction at no load, but very low friction at high loads.
